The perfect children’s party.

Having performed at over 2000 children’s parties i can safely say i’ve seen them in all their forms, locations and different demographics and i certainly know what i prefer.

I generally recommend a party at home with a manageable amount of children, plenty of adults and obviously a fun and dazzling show for them all to enjoy.

A party at home is always the easiest for the parents to arrange. I know some are worried about their ornaments, about the amount of space etc etc but when the alternative is to carry everything you need to another venue with it’s time constraints, the need to set it up and clean it afterwards it’s got to be preferable.

Some choose just to buy everything in i.e. venue, food drinks but that can be incredibly pricey.

A party at home can save you a fortune but also be the most pleasant place to be for all your guests both adults and children. It becomes a unique party venue not one the children have already been at 5 times before.

It’s comfortable with carpets instead of a dirty function room floor and everything you need is there, your whole kitchen, coffee or something stronger for the adults, soft drinks for the kids and everything you could possibly need at any point.

Obviously manageable amounts of children is an issue especially if there is an obligation to invite the whole class so it makes more sence when that isn’t the case unless you have a garden in which case it’s perfect.

Having a show like a magic show means that the children are sat and settled for a large proportion of the party which can be a massive advantage as letting children run loose has a variety of results but either way a magic show show is a powerful and memorable experience so it is an easy way of making a party very special.

It’s amazing how many parents describe having a magician at a party of theirs when they were younger. They still remember it fondly decades on which they couldn’t say about most of their parties.

Now this isn’t written in stone, you can have great parties in halls and venues and not so good parties at home but in the main it’s what i recommend. It’s where you see the most relaxed parents generally, the most pleasant place for other adults to attend and the place the children feel most at home and it’s also the perfect venue to perform a magic show as living rooms and gardens really are the perfect place for it..
